British media reported that, after a meeting between Premier League clubs on Wednesday afternoon, local time, representatives of 20 teams agreed, this year’s tournament will resume again in mid-June, after the delay because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the latest news from the Telegraph, the Premier League will officially re-start on June 17, with Aston Villa welcoming Shefield and Man City to Arsenal. Meanwhile, all 20 English Premier League teams will have completed 29 rounds.

Another Premier League match may take place on Friday (June 19), and the remaining 30 games will take place on Saturday (June 20).

Information about the 2019/20 Premier League makes fans excited, especially with Liverpool fans. Before the outbreak of Covid-19, Jurgen Klopp’s team only needed to win two more games to win the championship.

Serie A comes back on June 20

After the English Premier League, Serie A will return to play on June 20.

The Italian Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora confirmed this information, after a meeting on Thursday between tournament organizers and the country’s government.

The 2019/20 Serie A campaign has been postponed since March 10 due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Juventus is currently at the top of the table. The team is 2 points ahead of Lazio and Serie A is 12 rounds away.

Thus, after the Bundesliga pioneered again after the Covid-19 pandemic, the top European leagues were all set to return. Specifically, the Premier League on June 17. Meanwhile, Serie A return on June 20 and La Liga may return on June 11.
